Annual Meeting 2018


The Cortez Farmers Market's Annual Meeting will be held, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Calvin Denton Room, Empire Electric’s meeting room, at 10 a.m.


Returning and new vendors are invited to attend. The members of the standing committee, the treasurer, and the market manager will review the dates for this year’s market, the grants received, and the budget for 2018, as well as other business regarding the Market. Rules and regulations for 2018 will be reviewed and proposals for changes will be voted on by last year’s vendors.


The dates and deadlines for returning and new vendor applications will be announced during the meeting.


The Cortez Farmers Market will begin on June 2, 2018. This will be the Market’s 45th year of offering the best produce and artisan crafts to our community.

The Cortez Farmers Market's 2018 season will be here soon! Check back for the opening date and more info.


The Cortez Farmers Market is held , Saturday mornings, June 3rd through October 28th, from 7:30 a.m. through sellout (usually between 11:00 a.m. and noon). Join us for an abundance of fresh vegetables, beautiful jewelry and crafts, and delicious food. In addition to local produce, you will also find dry beans, eggs, local meats, fresh flowers, honey, crafts, and jewelry. Specialty vendors offer delicious foods and beverages. And, as always, live music, children's story hour with the Cortez Public Library at 9:30 a. m., and  the Community Booth sponsored by Farmers Telephone Company - Cortez Library story hour at the Farmers Market at 9:30 a. m.which features a different local non-profit organization each week.


The market is located in the Montezuma County Courthouse parking lot on the corner of Main and Elm (see maps), or find us on Google maps. Just a reminder that the Cortez Farmers Market accepts EBT cards and debit cards (the market charges a $2 transaction fee for debit cards, which is separate from any charges from your financial institution).
