Farmers Market Rewards Card

Rex Tozier Roasting ChilesThere's nothing like the smell of chiles roasting in the morning, and you'll find them at the Cortez Farmers Market! The farmers market is the place to be if you're looking for an abundance of local produce, delicious things to eat, and beautiful arts and crafts.

The Cortez Farmers Market is held Saturday mornings, June 2nd through October 27th, from 7:30 a.m. through sellout (usually between 11:00 a.m. and noon). The starting time will change for the month of October, with most vendors starting to sell at 8:30 a.m. Cortez Library story hour at the Farmers Market at 9:30 a. m.

Join us for an abundance of fresh vegetables, beautiful jewelry and crafts, and delicious food. In addition to local produce, you will also find dry beans, eggs, local meats, fresh flowers, local honey, crafts, and jewelry. Specialty vendors offer delicious foods and beverages. And, as always, live music, children's story hour with the Cortez Public Library at 9:30 a. m., and  the Community Booth sponsored by Farmers Telephone Company - which features a different local non-profit organization each week.

The market is located in the Montezuma County Courthouse parking lot on the corner of Main and Elm (see maps), or find us on Google maps. Just a reminder that the Cortez Farmers Market accepts EBT cards and debit cards (the market charges a $2 transaction fee for debit cards, which is separate from any charges from your financial institution).
