Fresh Roasted Chiles It's chile roasting season, and the Cortez Farmers Market is the place to get them. There is also a good selection of bulk produce for canning. And you won't want to miss the fresh produce, local eggs and meats, honey, and so much more.

The Cortez Farmers Market is held Live Music every week at the Farmers MarketSaturday mornings, June 3rd through October 28th, from 7:30 a.m. through sellout (usually between 11:00 a.m. and noon). Join us for an abundance of fresh vegetables, beautiful jewelry and crafts, and delicious food. In addition to local produce, you will also find dry beans, eggs, local meats, fresh flowers, honey, crafts, and Native jewelry. Specialty vendors offer services such as massage, delicious foods, and beverages. And, as always, live music, children's story hour with the Cortez Public Library at 9:30 a. m., and  the Community Booth sponsored by Farmers Telephone Company - which features a different local non-profit organization each week. Cortez Library story hour at the Farmers Market at 9:30 a. m.

The market is located in the Montezuma County Courthouse parking lot on the corner of Main and Elm (see maps), or find us on Google maps. Just a reminder that the Cortez Farmers Market accepts EBT cards and debit cards (the market charges a $2 transaction fee for debit cards, which is separate from any charges from your financial institution).
